Lady Gaga or Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was born on March 28 1986 and is an American singer and songwriter. In 2003, she performed on the Lower East Side of New York City and later enrolled at Tisch Art School at the New York University. She signed a contract with the Streamline Records, an imprint of Interscope Records, where she wrote songs for other artists. Soon after she signed a contract with Akon’s Kon Live Distribution.

Gaga revealed the actual name of her release in the course of the recognition presentation for Movie of year in the 2010 "MTV Video Music Awards". The release comes after the production of that homonymous top single released in February this year.
