Will I Am mp3
William James Adam Jr. better known as will.i.am and occasionally as Zuper Blahq, was born in the projects of East Los Angeles, California and was raised by his mother who encouraged him to be unique and avoid youth conformity. She encouraged him to follow a career in music, sending him to school in Pacific Palisades where he attended Palisades Charter High School. It was not long before will.i.am made friends with Allan Lindo, later known as apl.de.ap. Together in high school the duo performed at numerous East LA Clubs and were quickly joined by three others to form Atban Klann. They were signed by Compton Rapper Eazy-E and signed to Ruthless Records in 1991.
“Will-1X” first rap song was “Merry Muthafuckin’ Xmas” from Easy-E’s 1992 EP “5150: Home 4 tha Sick,” but things fell apart rapidly after the death of Eazy-E in 1995 and he left Ruthless records to start what would become The Black Eyed Peas. He was featured in 2005, singing “Secrets” on Dexter’s Laboratory: The Hop-Hop Experiment” on Cartoon Network and featured in Flo Rida’s “In The Ayer,” from the rappers debut album, Mail on Sunday” and again on Usher’s “What’s Your Name” from the album “Here I Stand.”
In 2006, Michael Jackson contacted Will, wanting him to produce his next album and in 2008 Will remixed and mastered a number of tracks for the Thriller re-release, “Thriller 25.” They would record until Jackson’s death in 2009 and Will has confirmed he will not release any of the unfinished songs IT is rumored that one track, “Fly Girl” was released on Will’s 2007 Album Songs About Girls.
Songs About Girls was his 2007 solo album available on CD and via direct download, was certified Gold in Russia and Poland. The album would spawn three decent performing singles: “I Got it from My Mama” in 2007 would peak in the low to mid thirties on the US and UK Charts. “Heartbreaker” in 2008 featuring Cheryl Cole would peak at number four in the UK, seven in Ireland and eleven in Europe. The final single “One More Chance would fail to chart in the US and peak at number 97 in the UK.
“Zuper Blahq” is Will.i.am’s pseudonym for the elctro house work he had released, include a solo release and a collaboration with steve Aoki on the UK Singles Chart number 29 “I’m in the House” released in September 2009. A new music video “Dance” was released under this pseudonym in January 2011, featuring artist Natalia Kills.
It is under this name that will.i.am has done a great deal of collaborative work, working with Flo Rida and Akon on the former’s upcoming album “R.O.O.T.S” and co-created girl group Paradiso Girls in 2007, signed to Geffen Interscope Records who made their debut in 2009. He has also worked and recorded four tracks with Cheryl Cole for her debut solo album “3 Words,” Rihanna on album “Rated R” and with Usher for the track “OMG.” He performed at the Electric Daisy Carnival in June 2010.
In February 2011, he was confirmed as working on a song with Britney Spears for her seventh album, “Femme Fatale,” rumored to be “Big Fat Bass.” He also provided the vocals for “Hot Wings” from the movie Rio and now leaves everyone wondering what his next move will be: Solo or back with the Peas?
